"Bello" harness
Ergonomics for the guide dog for the blind
Our development based on ergonomic findings for your guide dog.
The harness is a so-called X or Y harness, this harness forms on the back of the dog
the so-called "X" and the padding that runs from the chest between the legs the "Y".
This structure reduces the tensile and pressure loads on the guide dog during daily work
derived or minimized as best as possible.
Straight or ergonomic handle available.
The straight frame is suitable for well-rehearsed guide dog teams or even beginners.
The ergonomic lead handle comes into question when the guide dog team "tilts" the lead harness/handle to the right.
This prevents tension in the arm/shoulder area of the guide dog owner, as well as unwanted influence on the guide dog
The harness is made from a mix of fabrics, PP straps and artificial leather
Total weight of only about 450-550 grams, depending on size and handle length
Thanks to the choice of materials, the chest is easy to care for and easy to clean by hand or in the washing machine at 30 degrees.
The handle is powder-coated and easily washable, the grip area has an extra plastic cover, and can also be covered with leather or neoprene on request
Plastic connector for removing the handle when traveling by car or train for freedom of movement for the dog.
Rotating and tilting function on the plug connections to avoid impact and pressure loads on the dog.
The harness is available in 2 sizes and different handle lengths:
Size M - L for king poodles, small labradors or shepherd dogs up to approx. 22-32 kg
Size L-XL for Labradors or German Shepherds from 30 to approx. 40 kg
